Sam graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor of Health Science, majoring in Physiotherapy. He went straight into private practice musculoskeletal work, with a large focus on sports injuries and rehabilitation. Sports physiotherapy has always been a passion for Sam, from competing in cricket, football and sailing all to a high level previously. Sam has worked in a range of sports, but has always had a passion for cricket. Currently, Sam is the lead physiotherapist for the Auckland ACES cricket team, which keeps him busy touring for 7 months of the year.
Sam has also completed his post-graduate diploma in Sports and Exercise Medicine through the University of Otago.
A keen sportsman, he has a special interest in working with sporting injuries, and when not on the sideline of the cricket oval he helps deliver our concussion and acute knee clinics alongside practicing musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
Outside of work, Sam enjoys spending quality time with friends and family. He is very active, and can regularly be seen in the gym, on the golf course, of playing football for Albany United.
