Rosie originally graduated from Otago University with a Bachelors of Science majoring in physiology. She was motivated to go on to become a physiotherapist as it involved more one on one support and interaction with people. Initially working in Traumatic Brain Injury this progressed into the concussion space due to her background in sport. She has also worked in the community space as well so is attuned to working with a person-centred, well - rounded approach to rehabilitation.
She plays Ice Hockey herself as well as being involved with New Zealand u18 Women's team. With a brief stint supporting the Hong Kong Ice Hockey team during the 2025 World Championship Div 2b in Dunedin.
