After spending several years working as a ski instructor in both New Zealand and Canada, Patti developed a deep interest in biomechanics and the role it plays in performance and injury management. This led her to pursue a career in podiatry, studying at AUT and graduating in 2020.
Shortly after completing her degree, Patti moved to Queenstown to return to life in the mountains and begin her clinical career. There, she worked with a wide variety of clients in both general and sports podiatry settings, collaborating closely with musculoskeletal specialists, orthopaedic surgeons, physiotherapists and strength & conditioning coaches to deliver integrated, evidence-based care. She has supported athletes across a wide range of sports including skiing, snowboarding, ultra-marathon and multi sporting events.
Outside of the clinic, Patti enjoys keeping active in CrossFit, trail running and of course skiing. In her spare time, you will often find her exploring the outdoors with her partner and their dog, Otis.
