Amitesh is a Doctor at Axis as well as currently being Team Doctor for Counties Manukau Rugby, has worked as a doctor at the ASB Tennis Classic and was Team Doctor for the NZ U17 Women's Football Team at the FIFA World Cup. Previous to joining Axis, Amitesh had a background in urgent care and worked in our concussion clinic.

Amitesh is a Sports and Exercise Medicine Registrar in his first year of the ACSEP specialist training program at Axis. 

Amitesh comes from a background in Urgent Care and has worked at the Axis Concussion Clinic for the past year managing acute concussion patients at our North Shore clinic.  

Originally from Fiji Islands, Amitesh has a keen interest in all sports and was the team doctor for the Counties Manukau Mitre10 Cup team last year.

In 2017, Amitesh enjoyed his time with the NZ U17 Women's football team winning the bronze medal at the FIFA World Cup in Uruguay.
