
Before moving over to New Zealand, she worked over a wide area of musculoskeletal patients, ranging from acute orthopaedic hospital patients, pre and post op conditions, and outpatient private practice, where she developed a interest in cervicogenic headaches and management thereof. Since moving to New Zealand, she has been involved in the assessment and treatment of concussion patients, specifically vestibular related.
Melissa has a keen interest in working with people who are struggling with balance and dizziness following their mild head injury and helping them re-engage in their environment to give them the best chance at recovery.
