Hannah is a Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist with the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and Clinical Exercise Physiology New Zealand (CEPNZ).
Since graduating from The University of Auckland in 2016, Hannah has worked for the university, teaching and supervising Postgraduate Diploma and Masters students studying clinical exercise physiology, as well as working in Axis Sports Medicines’ Concussion Clinic.
During her time as a CEP, Hannah has worked with a wide range of clinical populations, including cardiac, neurological, immunological and musculoskeletal, amongst others. As well as clinical experience, Hannah also has research experience. As part of her Masters studies, she conducted a dissertation project which examined the cardiopulmonary response of older adults with ischaemic heart disease to high-intensity interval training protocols of differing lengths.
She has a keen interest in the physiology of various health conditions and is passionate about the role of education and exercise in the management of health outcomes for individuals affected by chronic disease.
