Caroline is a Sport and Exercise Registrar at Axis and currently is the team doctor for the NZ Vodafone Warriors NSW Cup team.
She graduated from the University of Auckland in 2008 and after completing her House Officer years at Auckland DHB, spent five years working in Urgent Care achieving Advanced Trainee status with the Royal New Zealand College of Urgent Care. She also worked in General Practice as a Sports Doctor.
After completing her Postgraduate Diploma in Sports Medicine in 2014, Caroline has worked as a team doctor with the Black Ferns NZ Women’s Rugby team, Black Sticks Men’s Hockey Team, NZ Breakers Basketball, NZ Surf Life Saving Team, NZ Warriors NSW Cup team and Sydney Roosters NRL Nines. More recently she was the lead tournament physician at the ASB Classic Tennis Open (Women’s WTA) in 2019 after previous involvement as an event doctor in 2017.
Caroline is a passionate hockey player having retired from the elite game in 2013 after her ninth season of National Hockey League which included two championship wins. She spent six years within the Blacksticks Women’s and Development squads and a season in Ipswich playing English hockey league.
