Arthritis Clinic

Assisting you in living an active lifestyle

We recognise that osteoarthritis can have a significant impact on your ability to undertake physical activity.

If you are suffering from osteoarthritis and the pain, swelling, stiffness, or potentially worse, symptoms are significantly impacting your ability to undertake physical activity, our specialist clinic could provide you with improvements you’ve been searching for.

Our clinic brings together a range of medical and allied health specialists to provide a comprehensive treatment plan, looking to optimise the non-surgical management of osteoarthritis.

How does the clinic work?

Initially, you will be assessed by a Sport and Exercise Physician in order to create an over-arching management plan. This plan could include:

  • Testing and review by a Clinical Exercise Physiologist who will prescribe a tailored progressive resistance training programme.
  • The use of our onsite rehab gym.
  • A review from a registered Dietician to optimise your diet and weight.
  • Access to evidence-based medications and injectable therapies such as hyaluronic acid (HA) and platelet-rich plasma (PRP).

Each member of our team will monitor and assess your progress and, where necessary, make adjustments to your treatment plan.

Lastly, if necessary, a sub-specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon is available to provide surgical options.

How much is an appointment?

Your initial consultation with the Sport and Exercise Physician will cost $200

Depending on your treatment plan further costs will vary.

In many cases your health insurance provider may cover part or all of this treatment so please refer to them for further information.

Do I need a referral?
